Established over 20 years ago, Accuro is a trusted UK provider of secure, high-accuracy speech-to-text services. Combining AI-powered technology with expert UK-based transcribers, Accuro supports healthcare, legal, HR, academia and media sectors with fast, reliable and secure transcription, captioning and translation solutions – including for the NHS.
The Challenge
Accuro already had a UKAS-certified ISO 27001 Information Security Management System in place. To support its position on an NHS Framework, the business needed to build on this strong foundation and develop a new integrated management system covering quality, environmental management and information security. The project also needed to be completed within a tight timeframe, aligned to Accuro’s ISO 27001 recertification cycle, while achieving certification to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Our Approach
Accuro partnered with Teamwork IMS to deliver a focused and practical certification programme in just four months. Drawing on proven multi-standard integration expertise, Teamwork IMS helped Accuro turn its existing ISO 27001 Information Security Management System into a broader, integrated management system without creating unnecessary complexity.
Working collaboratively with Accuro’s leadership team, Teamwork IMS helped to:
- Streamline processes and simplify documentation to reduce duplication, clarify roles, responsibilities and accountability across the business
- Embed quality and environmental controls into day-to-day operations
The approach focused on creating a practical integrated management system that supported certification requirements while making day-to-day management simpler, more consistent and more valuable to the business. By using experienced external consultants with a proven implementation approach, Accuro was able to maintain momentum, avoid duplication and keep internal teams focused on the areas where they added the greatest value.
The Outcome
Accuro achieved ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification with NQA and established a new integrated management system that brings quality, environmental management and information security together under one coordinated framework.
