Who are Advania UK Ltd?

Having established a requirement to achieve the TISAX® (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) label (sometimes referred to as Certification), in order to meet the stringent information security standards of Advania’s clients in the automotive industry, Advania engaged the services of their trusted compliance partner, Teamwork IMS.

What is TISAX®?

TISAX® was established by the VDA (the German association of the automotive industry) and is operated by the ENX Association. TISAX® enables mutual recognition of information security assessments in the automotive industry, to inspire trust throughout the automotive supply chain.

The international information security standard ISO/IEC 27001 serves as a solid foundation for TISAX® and as Teamwork had previously supported Advania UK in the development and maintenance of Advania’s information security management system, Teamwork were well positioned to expand the scope of their services, to include support to achieve the TISAX® label.

How did they benefit?

Achieving the TISAX® label, required careful navigation of the new process alongside engagement with European-based certification bodies, whilst calling upon the knowledge of Standards and industry best practice, across information security, data protection and physical security, within both Teamwork and Advania.

Advania duly met their client timescales and achieved award of the TISAX® label by TUV as an approved TISAX® audit provider.
